Editorial Feature - Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine
To be selected to represent Idaho state was such a joy! When I started designing weddings in Idaho, I wanted to push the envelope. I was seeing shabby chic, burlap, mason jars, chair sashes and wanted to show that we can step outside those design elements. I wanted to show that our wedding industry is capable of much more, we just need our clients to trust us to create something unique and remarkable.

REGIONAL ISSUE 1
I was so honored to be approached by the Editors of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine when they first debuted Volume 1 of their Regional Issue. To be selected to represent Idaho state was such a joy! When I started designing weddings in Idaho, I wanted to push the envelope. I was seeing shabby chic, burlap, mason jars, chair sashes and wanted to show that we can step outside those design elements. I wanted to show that our wedding industry is capable of much more, we just need our clients to trust us to create something unique and remarkable. Chateau de Fleur was still finishing construction and I jumped at the chance to be the first one to design in the space and showcase the area’s newest venue at the time. All that dreamy light! I will forever love this editorial and am grateful to have been given the opportunity.

Not a person could hold back tears as the Bride's cousin sang "Here Comes the Sun" as she walked down the aisle towards him. A truly beautiful wedding for Megan and Derek in McCall at Blackhawk on the River planned by Boise based, Ira and Lucy wedding and event planner and designer.

It’s these moments that we work so hard to create space for in the wedding timeline, so our clients can truly be in the moment. Megan’s Mom helped her dress in her gown. Her Uncles made her bridal bouquet and presented it to her. The couple shared a private first look where they could share in their joy and adoration for one another.
Kylee and Ty's Vegas Wedding
I love the opportunity to work in a new venue, especially when it’s an entirely different space unique to the surroundings, architecture and style that we often work in. Kylee is the daughter of one of our dearest friends and of course I leapt at the opportunity to help with the wedding. I am so proud of the beautiful work we created with a strict budget in mind, Kylee was such a great bride to partner with on planning her and Ty’s wedding. Super organized, incredibly appreciative and kind and hella sexy! LOVE you Kylee and Ty!

Intimate Mountain Elopement
SUN VALLEY, IDAHO
Shane wanted a very small wedding with her closest family and friends in one of her favorite places - Sun Valley. She found a beautiful AirBNB that family could both stay in and we could transform into a wedding space. Kara with Just So. Event Floral and I braved the cold and installed some focal greenery at the entryway that became the ceremony location. The home had beautiful stone fireplaces we covered with greenery.

Kendra + Alec's McCall Wedding
Beautiful McCall Idaho wedding with breathtaking views of the lake and Whitetail golf course. Sunflowers, the bride’s favorite flower, were grown by local flower farmer. Ira and Lucy designed and planned this gorgeous 350 person wedding with incredible attention to detail, creating remarkable guest experiences with featured lounge vignettes, and completely transforming the Whitetail golf cart barn.

We designed the Rehearsal Dinner around Kendra’s love for sunflowers. Our florist worked with local flower farmer, Cover’s Flower Farm, who planted specific sunflowers for Kendra’s wedding. We layered in beautiful textures and focused on a more wild mountain floral concept that didn’t feel too overly formal. Two lounge groupings offered guests space to sit and visit.

“We loved working with Heidi! Our wedding was everything we could imagine and more! We wanted a big wedding to celebrate with all our friends and family and that’s exactly what we got! We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding, and we have had so many people thank us for the amazing time celebrating us! Thank you Ira and Lucy team for everything you did to make our wedding day perfect for us!”
An enormous amount of planning went into this multi-day destination wedding in beautiful McCall Idaho! Multiple massive Penske 26 foot trucks and a huge tribe of vendors to make this all come to life! We also had a mega thunder storm come through just as guests left the reception and it was time for take down. It was a very challenging install and take down and I’m so so proud of the hustle and hard work our teams pulled to make it happen.
