IRA + LUCY FEATURED IN OREGON BRIDE MAGAZINE!
We can finally let the cat out of the bag! We are so happy to be featured in Oregon Bride Magazine's Best of 2017 Issue! This feature means a lot as it's been so important to me and our brand that we are recognized as a PNW Wedding and Event Planner.
Hope you enjoy the images from our shoot and be sure to check out the magazine, out now on shelves! Thank you to the awesome team of Creatives (listed below).
PORTLAND INSPIRED
We were drawn to Portland’s beautiful architecture as it truly speaks for itself. This styled shoot at Adored Vintage focused on bringing out the truly imaginative, creative and natural talent that we love about the Portland scene. Keeping to neutral tones to accent Portland’s unique structure. The Oatmeal tone velvet with natural Tuscany linen napkins accented the ceramic pottery details and romantic gold elements.
Textures were the focus for this tablescape with simple two tone vases, soft romantic hues and lush local floral elements. A tablescape is an experience for your guests. Run your fingertips over the soft velvet linen, the rough and smooth ceramics, the glassware, brass candlesticks and acrylic chairs. A tactile dream!
Acrylic chairs are a beautiful modern take on special event seating. Modern or classic and even with old world design style, they work! Showcase that beautiful linen and table design with a chair that only enhances the experience.
The brides dress, a stunning design from Alexandra Grecco, reflects simple elegance with contemporary lines and movement. The silhouette while simple in design; mimics the dramatic architecture surrounding St. John’s bridge with a mirrored deep V neckline and stunning mid-thigh slit. Complementing the modern design is a delicate golden maple leaf crown from Melinda Rose Designs.
The cake was kept simple to compliment the signature cocktail and focus on texture mimicking the ceramic details and adorned with natural floral elements
We adore simple elegant design. Timeless. Classic. Unforgettable.

Kylie + Punky's Countryside Wedding
STILL WATER HOLLOW | SEPTEMBER 19, 2014
Digging into the archives, it'd be a shame to not share some of our very first weddings and special couples that we had the joy of working with! These Brides were absolutely amazing and were so open to our design ideas and introducing the concept of "vintage rentals" to the Idaho wedding industry! Kylie was a dream to work with! One of our out-of-state brides, she and I emailed more times then I can count about design ideas, sharing concepts and bringing her dream wedding to life! Here's to Kylie and Punky who are now enjoying married life with a beautiful baby boy!

WINTER WEDDING AT BARBER PARK EVENT CENTER
BOISE, ID | LAKEN FULTON PHOTOGRAPHY
There is something so romantic about a winter wedding! Frost on the ground, cozy shawls, hot cocoa bars, candlelight and a cake to dream about! I so enjoyed designing this wedding! In hopes of giving this bride her dreamy winter feel, I painted wood cuts for design details and created a fabulous interactive hot cocoa bar. A "cozy up" lounge welcomed guests to sit back and enjoy the celebration and as the sun set and warm candlelight filled the room.
THE CAKE
This cake was the Bride's one thing she was most excited for! I'm so happy with how perfect it turned out and so thankful I made the call to move the table out of a window spot to this fabulous wood backdrop! It helped the entire cake focus stand out as a gorgeous focal point!

They are more versatile then you think and will be mixed with modern and rustic elegant styles. We hope you'll love these as much as we do! And guess what!? Chairs make a MEGA impact on your overall design! Our two favorites are the beautiful cross back option or these acrylic ghost chairs! 2017 is the year of the ghost chair. One of the reasons we can't get enough of these acrylic ghost chairs is because they are a beautiful and modern take on special event seating. Modern or classic, even with old world design style, they work in such a variety of styles. These unique chairs are also the perfect way to showcase that beautiful linen and table design you’ve been planning by enhancing the incredible details around them. The acrylic fades seamlessly into the design and lets all the elements of your design blend together to create the perfect balance. Not only do these beauties mix well in all types of wedding styles they mix well with other chairs as well. Still not convinced? Check out some of our favorite ways ghost chairs have been used so far.

"Getting Ready" Bridal Pics
You have your hair and makeup team on site, pampering you and your bridesmaids. You're laughing, excited and anxiously anticipating that moment of the first time your Groom sees you. Typically, the photographer arrives on location when some of your bridesmaids hair and makeup is complete and they are finishing your own look. What are you all wearing? How will the photographer capture this moment? Coordinating your robes or coverups is a great idea!
- IT'S PRACTICAL: Hair and Makeup Professionals want you wearing something that is easy to get in and out of, so you won't mess up that perfect look.
- IT'S MODEST: These are memories and photos you'll cherish for a long time and want to share with your friends and family. Keep that cleavage tastefully covered.
- IT'S STYLE: It just looks sooooo good!

Mary + Chase's Private Estate Wedding
Saturday August 20, 2016 | Private Estate | Eagle, ID
Boise Idaho Temple
Mary and Chase married in the beautiful Boise Idaho Temple on one of this summer's most breathtaking days. Abbey Kyhl Photography captured the joy and love surrounding them. We fell in love with Abbey and her genuine love for what Wedding photography is truly about. She writes,
Intimate Formal Dinner
Mary and Chase had their hearts set on an intimate and more formal dinner with their closest family and friends before getting the party started with the more traditional open house style for their reception. We created a separate private space for this part of the evening by setting the dinner tent with the soft glow of candle light, clean modern and romantic neutrals and lush greenery garlands draped in stunning orchids! Flowers At Will nailed the floral design!

The Reception
The reception was full of good friends, music, and dancing, the perfect mixture for a great time. Oh and maybe having a private fireworks show helped too! The Bride and Groom really loved the idea of having soda bars. They were a complete hit with the guests, as well as having fun lawn games, waterside seating, disposable cameras and polaroids and ended the night with a sparkler exit in a vintage family car.
Sydney + Bryce's Silent Film Inspired Wedding
SATURDAY JUNE 27, 2015 | SUTHERLAND'S RANCH | EAGLE, ID
Featured on Swooned
Bryce Hoogland and Sydney Thomas, high school sweethearts and film students with a shared passion for the silent cinema of yesteryear, wanted to imbue their big day with a “vintage film feel.” Surrounded by fragrant lavender fields, enshrouded in decades-old greenery, and dotted with an eclectic array of found art, Sutherland’s Ranch offered the Idahoan couple a setting worthy of the old screen. A lunar motif gave the event a touch of stardust, with a handcrafted crescent moon evoking the popular portrait props of the early twentieth century.
The wedding was captured beautifully by Ethan and Emily Hensley of E + E Photography, whose photographic treatment was inflected with a sense of the past. “Bryce and Sydney put so much thought into every bygone detail,” Emily says. “Their nuptials encompassed everything that is beautiful about a summer wedding in Idaho.” - Swooned
"Made by pastry chef Greg Marsh, the couple’s four-tiered naked cake was in keeping with the Arcadian theme. It sat on an amber glass pedestal, enwreathed in sugar-dusted berries and accented with tiny sprigs of baby’s breath." - Swooned

Lisa + Scott's Ranch Wedding
Saturday May 14, 2016 | Private Ranch | Marsing, ID
the diy bride
Lisa is incredibly talented! When we first met on Scott and Lisa's ranch and discussed what she and Scott wanted in a Wedding Coordinator, what was most important... a wedding that truly reflected their life, their dreams, their personality and their friends and family. Full of spunk and a design challenge, Lisa laughed and said,
Challenge on! Lisa created so many incredible DIY elements for her day that infused their relationship, history and lifestyle. It was a joy for our team to help guide she and Scott through planning logistics, bringing their vision to life and creating a memorable celebration!
