Lexi and Jimmy came to me with dreams of hosting their wedding at the Bride’s parent’s lakeside property. Through our discovery process it was clear that the property was an ideal fit for the welcome party, but that Schweitzer was a great fit for the actual wedding and reception. The couple are quite the athletes and LOVE the mountain! It allowed us to create an experience for the guests showcasing their love from lakeside to mountaintop! To be selected to represent Idaho state was such a joy! When I started designing weddings in Idaho, I wanted to push the envelope. I was seeing shabby chic, burlap, mason jars, chair sashes and wanted to show that we can step outside those design elements. I wanted to show that our wedding industry is capable of much more, we just need our clients to trust us to create something unique and remarkable.

I love the opportunity to work in a new venue, especially when it’s an entirely different space unique to the surroundings, architecture and style that we often work in. Kylee is the daughter of one of our dearest friends and of course I leapt at the opportunity to help with the wedding. I am so proud of the beautiful work we created with a strict budget in mind, Kylee was such a great bride to partner with on planning her and Ty’s wedding.
