After seeing Ira and Lucy’s portfolio and reading their mission statement to design thoughtful and remarkable weddings, I knew they were the perfect team to help me plan my wedding while I was living out of state. From our first phone conversation to our sparkler send off, senior coordinator Victoria Haney went above and beyond to make my wedding day a dream come true. Most importantly, she consistently listened carefully to both my fiancé’s hopes and mine for our wedding day to ensure that all our expectations were met. She remembered even the smallest details I mentioned along the way, calmed my worries no matter what time of day, was creative and innovative when it came to the wedding design, was resourceful and well connected to our vendors, logical when talking through our mutual decision making and exceedingly kind and patient throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough about how Victoria was an advocate for me, my fiancé and my family, in order to make sure the day was everything we all wanted it to be. Victoria is incredibly talented and dedicated to her work. I would (and have already!) recommend Ira and Lucy to anyone planning a wedding, no matter how big or small.

I have had the WORSE wedding withdrawals ever! It’s such a sad feeling when it’s all over. *:( sad My heart was happy to see your name pop up this morning! I will never be able to thank you enough for everything you did for us. You are an amazing person with a heart of gold. You pulled off Maddy’s special day perfectly. I know how incredibly hard you and your staff work. Everything little tiny thing was done with so much love and attention. I LOVE seeing your “Behind the Scenes” on Instagram! It breaks my heart really!! Maddy and I have been enjoying seeing all your posts of the weddings you have been working on. We giggle because we are actually” jealous” they get to spend time you. You make the planning process so special and fun, we didn’t want it to end. You have a talent beyond words but combine it with so much love and that’s what make you so special. We have had endless compliments on the wedding thanks to you. The venue turned out spectacular and when we walked into to dinner, it was truly a wonderland. Just gorgeous and thanks to Kara, it smelled so good! I can’t wait for our pictures! I thought the sneak peeks were so awesome! We appreciate you to no end!!!! FIRST LOOK WITH THE BRIDE AND HER FATHER
This is one of those moments we take care to plan... The hustle and quick pace of a wedding day has to be planned with recognizing important moments. When we know our clients have a very close relationship with their parents, we take time to make sure the mother of the bride is present to help her daughter get into her gown, followed by a first look with the bride and her Dad. It doesn't take too much time, but it's a thoughtful time to allow a moment to connect and honor the bride's parents.

Maddy and I had a running joke that this was the summer of the #corndogwedding When Maddy came to me that she wanted a late night snack for her guests and dreamed of a food truck...well let's say many many hours were spent contacting every food truck in this entire state! With summer being peak "food truck" season... we had to get creative and Horsewood Catering did on site fresh corn dog station and it was a HUGE hit! Success!

Mary and Chase married in the beautiful Boise Idaho Temple on one of this summer's most breathtaking days. Abbey Kyhl Photography captured the joy and love surrounding them. We fell in love with Abbey and her genuine love for what Wedding photography is truly about. She writes,
“But weddings include so much more than just the gorgeous images of the couple and I strive to capture every moment as it unfolds throughout the day. Your wedding day is about all the warm smiles and happy faces of the people who came to support you, tears of joy that are shed as you pledge your love to each other, all the details of the day you have worked so hard to make perfect, and everything in between. It’s about the moment you slip your dress on, to the moment you hug your parents goodbye. The tiny moments that make up your perfect day are special, fleeting and perfect. Life is scattered with tiny moments of beauty and emotion, and my goal is to capture each one of those memories that tell your entire love story.”
Intimate Formal Dinner
Mary and Chase had their hearts set on an intimate and more formal dinner with their closest family and friends before getting the party started with the more traditional open house style for their reception. We created a separate private space for this part of the evening by setting the dinner tent with the soft glow of candle light, clean modern and romantic neutrals and lush greenery garlands draped in stunning orchids! Flowers At Will nailed the floral design!

The Reception
The reception was full of good friends, music, and dancing, the perfect mixture for a great time. Oh and maybe having a private fireworks show helped too! The Bride and Groom really loved the idea of having soda bars. They were a complete hit with the guests, as well as having fun lawn games, waterside seating, disposable cameras and polaroids and ended the night with a sparkler exit in a vintage family car.
