Monochromatic Champagne Hued Summer Wedding

Getting Ready, Hotel Renegade
Ceremony & Reception, White Barn Weddings, Emmett Idaho

The Venue

We absolutely adore White Barn Weddings in Emmett, Idaho, as one of our TOP VENUE CHOICES in the state. The design, abundant natural light, and versatile space make it a dream setting for any couple's special day. The venue's commitment to offering an amenity-rich and highly personalized experience ensures that every wedding is both beautiful and seamless. We had the pleasure of planning and designing Kinzie and JJ's wedding there last summer, and the stunning backdrop of White Barn added an extra touch of elegance to their celebration. It's venues like this that make our work so rewarding and inspire us to create lasting memories for our clients. If you haven’t checked this venue out - YOU NEED TO!

Rehearsal, but make it a brunch!

For Kinzie and JJ’s wedding weekend, we started the day with a relaxed morning rehearsal (before the temperatures got into triple digits) followed by a lovely casual brunch, setting the tone for a warm and welcoming celebration. Opting for a morning rehearsal vs evening, created a stress-free atmosphere, giving the wedding party time to connect and enjoy the moment. With the rehearsal wrapped up early, everyone had the afternoon to relax and prepare for the evening’s welcome party, making the entire weekend feel seamless and intentional.

Getting Ready

We chose the Pend d'Oreille Penthouse at Hotel Renegade as our getting-ready location for its luxurious ambiance and exceptional amenities. The spacious suite offers a serene environment, perfect for pre-wedding preparations. Features like the copper tub provide a relaxing experience, allowing couples to unwind before their big day. We always recommend our clients budget for two nights in the penthouse to fully enjoy its offerings, including spending the night before the wedding in this gorgeous space. Waking up refreshed in such an elegant setting enhances the overall wedding experience.

First Look

After some wedding party photos at Hotel Renegade we transported our couple and their wedding party by party bus to the wedding venue, White Barn Weddings in Emmett to grab some additional photos prior to the wedding ceremony.

The Ceremony

Thoughtful Shade & Meaningful Details

At Ira and Lucy, we believe that great design isn’t just about aestheticsβ€”it’s about creating an experience that prioritizes both beauty and comfort. For this wedding, we thoughtfully incorporated our umbrella rentals to provide stylish, functional shade, ensuring guests could fully enjoy the celebration without the heat becoming overwhelming. Strategically placed throughout the ceremony and reception, these umbrellas seamlessly blended with the design while offering a cool retreat for loved ones to relax, sip a cocktail, and soak in the magic of the day.

Every element of this wedding was designed with intention, creating a setting that felt personal and deeply connected to the couple. This is the heart of what we do at Ira and Lucyβ€”bringing your story to life in a way that is stunning, seamless, and meaningful.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour is more than just a transition between the ceremony and receptionβ€”it’s an experience in itself. For this wedding, we designed a stylish and inviting space where guests could mingle comfortably while enjoying handcrafted cocktails and curated bites. Our umbrella rentals provided much-needed shade, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, while thoughtfully placed lounge seating encouraged conversation and connection.

Every design element was chosen to complement the couple’s aesthetic, from elegant bar styling to refined tabletop details. Signature drinks, ambient music, and the golden-hour glow all came together to create an unforgettable prelude to the evening’s celebration.

The Reception

A Champagne-Hued Celebration: Monochromatic Elegance in Every Detail

The reception was a breathtaking display of monochromatic sophistication, with a champagne-hued palette that exuded timeless elegance. Soft neutrals layered with luxurious textures created a refined yet inviting atmosphere, where every detail was curated to complement the overall aesthetic. From the flowing linens to the delicate candlelight, the design embraced warmth and romance, allowing the beauty of simplicity to shine.

A mix of creamy florals, subtle metallic accents, and ambient lighting enhanced the monochromatic vision, proving that a single-tone palette can be anything but boringβ€”it’s an intentional, high-end approach to modern wedding design. The result was an atmosphere that felt effortlessly chic, allowing guests to dine, toast, and dance the night away in a space that was both stunning and intimate. At Ira and Lucy, we specialize in crafting elevated, design-forward celebrations, where every element comes together to tell a cohesive and unforgettable story.
